A nice day with a nice couple!!!!!!!!!
Today I had the pleasure of having a couple from louisiana down for some much needed R&R. They had come to galveston, instead of destin due to the oil from the deepwater horizon spill.
They arrived at the house at 630 am and we headed out. As we were running, we saw fast movers, so they asked about them and I explained that these go fast boats were the guys fishing the XRT redfish tournament in freeport. I knew everyone that passed me, so we waved and told them to GO GET EM!!!!!!
We arrived at our spot and I got laura all set up with a live shrimp and showed her exactly what I wanted her to do. As I was getting andrew set up to fish, Laura was letting us know quite vocally that she had a fish on lol.
She had the first fish, then the second, then the third etc etc. I believe she had 9 in the box before her husband had his first keeper.
This couple has spent alot of time in the past fishing offshore out of Destin, but this was the first time they have bay fished. They did great and had an enjoyable time.
We left them biting to head out looking for reds, and unfortunately the reds did not cooperate this morning. We ended the day at noon and headed to the house.
Total Catch: 20 Specks, 3 Sandies and a smack
A great day with a nice couple!!!!!!!!!!
